We’re having a fake festival

A group of us have been going to a small, family friendly music and arts festival on a local farm for many years. Unfortunately, it pulled up roots a few years ago, and we’ve all been trying to scratch that itch ever since.

we wondered, what if we weeded out the stuff we weren’t interested in (annoying strangers, stupid ticket prices, following other peoples’ rules) and kept the things we liked (live music, cooking, glamping with friends old and new).

could we do a homegrown version of our festie weekend?

how hard can it be? Right? As long as we invite good people?
